This week’s 2-Minute Drill focuses on Automated Prospecting – an excellent, FREE Google Chrome plugin from SalesLoft.
Automated Prospecting lets you search LinkedIn and export LinkedIn search results to CSV or a Google Spreadsheet – directly from your browser. From there, you can add them to a database, Salesforce, or your prospecting tool of choice.
It works no matter what page you’re on. Just enter your LinkedIn credentials, and you’re good to go.

Hey everyone! Thanks for checking out this week’s 2-Minute Drill.
Today I’m going to be talking about a company I believe we have blogged about before called SalesLoft out of Atlanta, Georgia. SalesLoft has several different tools, but the one I’m going to talk about today is a Chrome extension. It’s actually free.
So, if you just google “Chrome Web Store” and you search the Chrome Web Store for SalesLoft, one word, and come over here to Extensions you should find this extension called Automated Prospecting. Once you add that to your Chrome you’re going to see this little SalesLoft icon over here. I believe when you first install it you’re going to need to connect it to your LinkedIn. Once it’s installed then you’re going to see this little search bar that says Search LinkedIn.
For instance, I can do “product manager – software” just for fun. Hit “Enter”. It’s going to do a couple of things. One, it’s going to take me to this Google search, which I actually don’t care too much about. What I really like is if I come back and click this tab again it pulls all of these results into basically a spreadsheet within the extension. You’ll see first name, last name, LinkedIn URL, company, title. This is pretty incredible.
When you scroll down you can export this data to a CSV or export it to a Google spreadsheet which, obviously, from there you can just add to your Salesforce or whatever it is. Pretty amazing tool that I definitely encourage you to go download if you are in the sales space and use Chrome.
Again, that’s SalesLoft. The extension is called Automated Prospecting from the Chrome Web Store. Go check it out. Try it out. You’ll just connect your LinkedIn, search for title or company or whatever it may be, and it’ll pull everything into a spreadsheet for you.
