One of the greatest parts about our jobs in technology is finding interesting ways to solve problems. You might have read about a problem that we had with offline data analysis using Cassandra, and how we fixed it. In fact, we open-sourced the solution so you can use it too. With the upcoming Cassandra Summit 2014, we thought it would be a great chance to dig in deeper and talk more about the fix, all while providing some examples. FullContact’s Ben Vanberg will be speaking at the Summit.
We’re still a couple of months away from Cassandra Summit, which will happen in San Francisco on September 10th and 11th, but we’d love to meet more of the Cassandra community face to face. There are still Priority and Training passes left to be claimed, and it’s sure to be one of the best educational resources around.
Make sure to grab your ticket while you still can. The Priority Pass is $99 and gets you reserved seating at the keynotes and networking events, as well as the breakout sessions. If you want to go deeper, the $699 Training Pass will dive in to either data modeling or performance tuning, depending on which track you choose.
