Privacy Policy Update
The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) goes into effect on January 1st, 2020, and as a result, we’ve updated our Privacy Policy. Being people-focused means transparency is always one of our main goals–we want people to know exactly what type of data we may collect, how that data may be used, and we want them to know their rights to claiming and verifying their personal data.
If you’re interested in learning about the step-by-step process we took to prepare for CCPA, check out one of our latest posts, How FullContact Prepared for CCPA.
Here are the specifics of what we updated in the Privacy Policy:
- We’ve simplified the language to clearly state how we may collect personal data, how that data is sourced, and how it may be used.
- We’ve included additional information to enlighten consumers on their privacy rights and how to exercise those rights.
- We’ve revised our Own Your Data portal to include four options:
1Do Not Sell My Data2Tell Me What Data You Have About Me3Delete My Data4Change My Data
